For Loro Piana Interiors, the muse of Design Week is Cini Boeri The legendary Milanese architect and designer was born exactly 100 years ago

Beyond the clothing and footwear for which it is world-renowned, the core of Loro Piana's activity lies in fabrics – fabrics that are also prominent in the world of home decor and have made the century-old brand a powerhouse in the world of interior design. This year, coinciding with the centenary of Loro Piana's founding, the Maison has decided to celebrate its history and that of Milanese design through an exceptional muse, the great Cini Boeri who, in an almost perfect coincidence, was born just a hundred years ago. From April 16 to 21, Loro Piana Interiors will celebrate the life and works of Cini Boeri with the installation A Tribute To Cini Boeri at the Cortile della Seta, its Milanese headquarters, whose modernist and geometric shapes converse with the rounded lines and the always practical but sophisticated construction of Boeri's seating. The installation will be dedicated to the iconic pieces designed by the great Italian architect and designer, elevated by the presence of the opulent fabrics that Loro Piana Interiors uses in the creation of its products. Made by arflex, these unique furniture pieces celebrate the most joyful, playful, and contemporary part of Cini Boeri's design idea while also physically demonstrating the versatility and value of the brand's contribution to the Italian textile sector.
