# 1. The concept is absolutely wonderfully and deliciously disturbing.
At the end of each AHS is an evergreen classic of the opening debate "will be set where the next season?". Will cover vampires? Serial killer? Aliens? No friends, this would have been too obvious ... but the circus! The circus meets our innermost fantasies. It is an ambivalent setting that divides us between sweet childhood memories and nightmares. "Freak Show" is instead set after the Second World War and there will certainly direct references to the period.
# 6. You've never had the fear of clowns? Well, never say never, there's always a first time.
If the circus is the main setting, it obviously could not miss a mysterious clown in the role of serial killer.
