From Formula 1 to contemporary luxury, 50 years of Maserati Bora - The iconic sports car designed by Giorgietto Giugiaro

On March 11th of 50 years ago, at the Geneva Motor Show, took place the debut of a sports car that perfectly encapsulated the zeitgeist of the decade in which it was born, but with a design-oriented towards the future.

The Maserati Bora was born from the mind of the legendary designer Giorgietto Giugiaro, who gave life to a futuristic car, but with a typical 70s character. Flanked by engineer Giulio Alfieri, Giugiaro wrote a page in the history of Maserati, which recently added a chapter to its long list of innovations with the first hybrid engine made for the Maserati MC20.
