"Planar House": the green paradise Its characteristic? A variety of closed and open spaces under an imposing concrete roof covered with grass

Who has not dreamed of owning a beautiful house in a lush and almost untouched territory?

Well, if you are looking for the ideal place to buy, you should see one of the projects completed in February 2018 by Studio MK27 Porto Feliz, a municipality in the Brazilian state of São Paulo.

It is a minimalist residence of 1,000 square meters, characterized by a longitudinal shape and, above all, by an imposing concrete roof covered with grass, which reproduces the surrounding lawn.

“Structurally, the slab is a rigid platform that is not supported by beams but directly by the pillars, which are distributed modularly in three axes” - explains the team of MK27 - "the cross-shaped metallic pillars are an homage to the elegant proportions of miesian architecture."

The aerial photographs of the project show vegetation, skylights and solar panels that cover this "fifth facade of the building", while under it there are two programmatic boxes, furnished with low and massive furniture.

The first contains service areas, a gym, TV and games rooms, while the second houses five bedrooms with bathrooms.
