The new NBA City Edition 2021-22 The celebrations for NBA's 75th season are going strong in the new jerseys dedicated to the franchise's cities

After have paid respect to the league's history at the start of the season with the short film NBA LANE, the NBA using its own tradition for the new City Edition design. The heritage celebrated for the 75th season is still present in the details of the jerseys just unveiled. The theme "Moment Mixtape" brought each team to underline the greatest moment of their sport history in a sweet memory trip.   

Some teams have brought back the times when they played in the ABA (American Basketball Association). like the San Antonio Spurs with the Dallas Chaparrals logo on their jersey or with the iconic white, red and blue ABA ball stitched on the Denver Nuggets kit. The Brooklyn Nets brought back the pattern made famous in the 70s by Julius Erving. The Los Angeles Lakers meanwhile have chosen to use the Minneapolis Blue with the addition of a small detail from each decade, from the Showtime Lakers to Kobe and Shaq.

This year City Edition are a joyful trip on the memory lane, and some hardcore fans will crave for the hidden Easter Eggs, but they add nothing to the history they want to pay homage to and in some cases are trapped in the past.
