Wayne Rooney's career in a documentary It will be explored through unpublished and behind the scenes films, starting from the debut with Everton

Wayne Rooney will also have his documentary: "Rooney". The current Derby County player/coach, who has become legendary for setting the goal record with both Manchester United and the English national team, will receive a treatment that will automatically direct him among the "football goats".

The documentary will be produced by Lorton Entertainment, the same house that produced ''Maradona'' and ''Make Us dream'' - the 2013/2014 Liverpool documentary -, and directed by Matt Smith, former director of ''Rio Ferdinand: Being Mum and Dad'', confirming that at the base of the production there is some experience in football.

It is not the first time that the now 35-year-old is in front of the cameras, having already lent his face for the series "Street Striker" and for the documentary "Rooney: The Man Behind the Goals", but nevertheless declares to be enthusiastic about the approach that was given to the next release: ''This is a film that analyzes my journey in detail: highs, lows, my game and finally I have the opportunity to show the person I really am''.
