American style II - 4 jerseys from the MLS 2018 The second episode of the journey in the MLS's shirts

On March 3, Toronto FC and Columbus Crew will open the 2018 season of the American Major League Soccer. 2018 will be the year zero of American soccer: after the resounding elimination from the World Cup and the consequent loss of money, the football movement must rise once again. The league seems to be on the right track: two new franchises - including David Beckham's one - will become part of the MLS, and many teams trying to grow talent at home and avoid importing elephants at the end of their career from Europe. If at a technical-tactical level the league is still far behind, certainly not from an aesthetic point of view: already in the first episode of this column we have started to present the new sweaters that will be protagonist this season, today we will discover four more. The jerseys of all MLS franchises are signed by adidas as the League has signed a collective agreement with an estimated value of 700 million dollars, spread over six years.

LA Galaxy - Home

The Union have whipped up a beautifully executed dark blue shirt with faded horizontal stripes, classy gold numbers and matching gold trim. The centre gold panel has been removed for the very first time to create a fresh sense of identity for the club; two shades of navy in a subtle hoop formation bring the aesthetic game up to scratch. the only real issue with this jersey is the BIMBO sponsor in the middle of the shirt, that reduces the aggressivness and cool attitude of the jersey.
