Red Star FC celebrative kit by adidas The club, founded by Jules Rimet in 1897, turned 120 last February

120 years ago, in Saint-Ouen, north of Paris, the Red Star Football Club, mostly known as Red Star, was founded. As many historic teams of the world football, also this one has passed its golden years and only recently it came back to glory with the promotion to the French Ligue 2. 

But let’s get back to Red Star FC that, among others, saw in its team ‘the Wizard’ Helenio Herrera. To celebrate the club’s 120th birthday, adidas realized a celebrative kit. It’s made in black, gray and white, realized to be worn in and outside the pitch. Other than the crest in red, the shirt also has the club’s name and the number ‘120’ print on it. Around the crest, there’s a beautiful writing in French: “Notre coeur, notre force”, our heart, our strength.
