When the Ritz Paris is no longer just a hotel Fashion and luxury mix and mingle, far beyond the hotel sector

If the Ritz Paris, the prestigious hotel on Place Vendôme, is primarily known for its luxurious rooms and exemplary service, it offers more than just plush beds and quality room service. Indeed, the institution returns for the fourth time with a brand-new clothing collection, created in collaboration with the California-based brand FRAME. This collaboration, like the three before it, is a natural progression given the shared history that deeply intertwines Ritz Paris with fashion. A true sacred space that hosted Gabrielle Chanel for no less than 34 years, chosen not only for its luxury but also for its proximity to her atelier on Rue Cambon, the hotel today is a symbol of French refinement that hasn’t escaped the attention of fashion enthusiasts.
But the hotel and its collaborations are not limited to fashion: for over a hundred years, the Ritz Paris has collaborated with porcelain manufacturer Haviland, giving rise to a line of tableware with designs inspired by the hotel's timeless class. Some of the porcelain pieces created by César Ritz himself in 1898 are also upcycled, in a collection of jewellery designed from fragments of tableware, all produced in collaboration with La Fabrique Nomade, illustrating the Ritz Paris' commitment to sustainable fashion. In any case, if you don't have any gift ideas to put under the tree on 24 December, a piece from the Ritz Paris x FRAME collection could well suit any member of the family, from the fashionista looking for elegant, timeless pieces to the distant cousin who could do with a little makeover.
