Etnia Barcelona and Toiletpaper Magazine between fashion and surrealism The two brands launch a limited edition capsule collection

What happens when two brands known for their irreverent and avant-garde essence collaborate? A completely out-of-the-box capsule collection is born. The eyewear brand Etnia Barcelona, famous for its creative and independent approach, unveils a new collaboration with Toiletpaper Magazine, known for its irreverent and provocative visual style. The capsule collection, titled “Toiletpaper x Etnia Barcelona”, represents an artistic exploration that combines bold design and surrealism, giving life to glasses that reinterpret the accessory as an unconventional visual canvas. The collection, available in a limited edition, consists of three models of sunglasses: “Dolly,” “Roses 1,” and “Roses 2”. Each model stands out for the aesthetic inspired by Toiletpaper's most iconic pattern, depicting roses with a doll's eye at the center, an image symbolizing the magazine founded by Maurizio Cattelan and Pier Paolo Ferrari. The result is an eyewear offering that expresses the creative soul of both brands. The collaboration is launched with a campaign that has filled the streets of Barcelona with striking and surreal visual images, in line with the aesthetics of the 1950s and 1960s that characterize Toiletpaper Magazine. The official presentation of the capsule was celebrated with an exclusive event at the Etnia Barcelona Flagship Store in the El Born district, entirely decorated to reflect the iconic imagery of the magazine, with stylists and influencers like Marc Fornè and Nina Urgell Cloquell in attendance.
