Miu Miu presents Irreverent Wonder, the Holiday 2024 campaign Emma Corrin wears the season's and the new Miu Miu Upcycled collection's garments

Miu Miu once again chooses Emma Corrin to wear its highly coveted creations in Irreverent Wonder, the Holiday 2024 campaign under the creative direction of Edward Quarmby. Through a series of shots by Lengua, featuring delicately colored portraits inspired by vintage holiday postcards, the brand reinterprets the nostalgia, past, and traditions of the festive season, transforming them into “a moment of optimism and a promise of wonders to come.” The setting is minimalist, almost abstract, with walls and floors covered in light-colored silk. Light and shadow move across the fabric backdrop. The furnishings are few but chic, evoking an old-fashioned atmosphere: a brocade sofa, a grand piano, and a velvet drape. Every detail is carefully crafted to evoke a sensory memory of the holidays, that warm glow felt when gathering with loved ones to celebrate a special day, but with an idiosyncratic and intellectual, eccentric, and subtle touch typical of Miu Miu.
The Holiday 2024 campaign also serves as the debut of the new Miu Miu Upcycled collection. These are pieces crafted with repurposed yarns, kilts, and leather. Each piece is unique, blending Miu Miu's love of vintage with a commitment to sustainable design, a nod to circular fashion practices that enrich the holiday selection. Choosing one of these creations means wearing a personal, special look and creating a link between past, present, and future, a connection between us and the stories of those who wore these materials before. There’s something magical about upcycled items that embrace the holiday spirit, don’t you think?
