The North Face reinterprets the iconic Himalayan Parka To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the historic jacket
The North Face celebrates the 30th anniversary of its iconic Himalayan Parka by unveiling a reimagined version of this classic piece. With a fresh design, the new parka is a symbol of exploration and innovation, merging the brand's heritage with a future-oriented approach to style and functionality. Originally launched in 1994, the Himalayan Parka was created to withstand extreme conditions, becoming an essential element of The North Face's Expedition System. Now, for the FW24 collection, the parka has been transformed into a piece suitable for everyday use, while maintaining its robust DNA and spirit of adventure. The new campaign from The North Face for the Himalayan Parka features two British talents: Deba, a lifestyle content creator and advocate for outdoor living, and Corbin Shaw, an artist whose work challenges traditional notions of masculinity. Through their unique perspectives, the campaign explores the theme of reinterpreting icons, just as the Himalayan Parka has been reimagined to challenge conventions and attract modern explorers.
