Magliano and U-Power together for a new collaboration For the FW23 season, the designer combines fashion and safety in an ode to lightness
Italian cult brand Magliano has teamed up with U-Power, one of Europe's leading safety apparel manufacturers, to create a collaborative collection that celebrates the often forgotten hero of the working world: the worker. The Magliano x U-Power collection, presented for the first time during the brand's FW23 fashion show, is a tribute to the strength and importance of the worker, but at the same time an invitation to lightness and fun. The Magliano x U-Power collection is an ode to the work shoe, both for its symbolic value and its intrinsic quality as an object of protection. The goal of Adrian González-Cohen, who shot the collection, was to capture the essence of daily life in the Magliano factory. The campaign images are set against the backdrop of the forklift hoist, which has become a protagonist monolith and symbol of the workplace where U-Power reigns supreme. Workers are portrayed indulging in moments of leisure during their lunch break, between a cigarette and a moment of levity.
