Uniqlo and KAWS's new collaboration is on the way - With a collection of graphed garments and an exclusive art book

Uniqlo has finally announced the arrival of a collaboration that has been rumored for months: a new exclusive partnership with KAWS. Thursday, September 7 will mark the simultaneous launch of UT's new collection of T-Shirts and art book in collaboration with the New York-based artist. The announcement has sparked excitement among collectors and fans of the great contemporary artist's work, who back in the days of his first link-up with the Japanese apparel giant had already created long lines in front of stores and sent the entire collection quickly selling out. The UT collection, whose garments are genderless, distinguished by the artist's iconic characters such as COMPANION and BFF (the latter presented in a vibrant shade of pink for the occasion) captures the essence of KAWS's creative world. But the news doesn't end there. UNIQLO, in collaboration with Phaidon, will also present an art book dedicated to KAWS. The art book will be part of Phaidon's renowned Contemporary Artist Series and is set to become the definitive contribution to the in-depth study of contemporary art. The book will be available for purchase starting Sept. 22.
