Vestiaire Collective's Impact Record analyses each year the most significant trends in the world of second-hand fashion, taking a practical look at consumer habits and their perception of sustainable shopping. Published this month, the company's new report shows that, between 2021 and 2022, ads on the platform increased by 33%, and vintage items reached over 55 million clicks. Fashion and Sustainability
Among the most purchased luxury brands on Vestiaire are Chanel and Gucci, followed by Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior, and Hermès, while in the case of ready-to-wear brands, the platform's users mainly favor Moncler, Jacquemus, Alexander McQueen, Acne Studios, Isabel Marant and Vivienne Westwood. The most searched items are Gucci belts, which received a 15% increase in clicks compared to 2021, and Louis Vuitton's Speedy bags, which attracted 22% more attention this past year. Moncler coats, together with Cartier's Tank Must watches, were the most popular garments and accessories, with increases of 51% and 57%, respectively.
