Fashion Weeks SS22 Moodboard The inspirations on the catwalks comes from the archives and the world of arts

Fashion Month has just ended. From London to New York, from Milan to Paris, the major brands have celebrated the return to IRL fashion shows and to life by bringing on the catwalk creations sharing a vital, sexy and nostalgic mood which reminds us of the carefree look of the late 90s and early 2000s, but also of the sixties. As always, the inspirations behind the new collections are many and different and range from JLo to the cult movie Irma Verp. Many like Chanel and Valentino have preferred to look to the past exploring from their rich archives, while most have opted to draw on the world of arts like Givenchy citing the works of American Josh Smith and MSGM with the posters created by Steven Frykholm for Herman Miller. The award for the most fascinating inspiration goes to Louis Vuitton who brought to the runway a mash-up between Marie Antoinette, the cult silent movies and the Ziegfeld Follies.
