The new capsule "Go Your Own Way" by Vault by Vans x Aries The spirit of countercultures enters Vans' archives
Vault by Vans and Aries have announced their next collaboration for the FW21 season: a capsule titled "Go Your Own Way". The spirit of the capsule is to celebrate the subcultures and creativity of the new generations by combining contemporary graphics, the vintage aura of American sportswear. The classic skate aesthetic of Vans will therefore be reinterpreted by Sofia Prantera, founder of Aries, who since the time of her studies at Central Saint Martins in London had deepened and studied the culture of ravers and rebels of all ages. These were Prantera's words in describing the collection:
«We wanted the collaboration to follow this formula based on randomness; the same colors do not correspond to perfection, as if they were part of different materials; graphics and logos are inconsistent; on the soles appear completely random apocalyptic stories».
