The five most worn brands at the 2021 Grammys Gucci and Louis Vuitton lead, Versace third
Yesterday's Grammy Award 2021 red carpet was a semi-return to normality: after an all-digital award season, in which the red carpet charm was lost, the return to the live format (albeit with some precautions of the case) gave the impression of going back to 2019. The American stars obviously brought to the ceremony the best of their outfits with some of the big names in fashion who have dressed more than one star: in fact, Gucci and Louis Vuitton are closely tied, and on a purely numerical basis would win Louis Vuitton, which dressed the seven members of the K-Pop group BTS. For the rest, it surprises the vast majority of Italian fashion on the red carpet with Versace, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana leading the way.
Ingrid Andress is a demonstration of how potential Armani Privé has as a couture brand in its own right. The other two men's outfits are obviously elegant suits even if they do not convince in full: soul icon Michael Kiwanuka chooses a glittery and somewhat drooping pinstripe, Kendrick Simpson instead guesses the top but the pants too tight and the formal shoe without sock, with ankle on sight, is not the best of the finesse.
