"We are proud to continue the ongoing collaboration between MoMA and Swatch with this new collection of watches inspired by the works of art from the MoMA collection. MoMA's commitment to integrating good design into everyday life is embodied in Swatch watches," said Robin Sayetta, MoMA Associate Director of Business Development.
"Swatch is very pleased to celebrate a new step in its rich history with MoMA, which includes several Swatch watches in the museum's permanent collection. It is a real honor to be able to reinterpret masterpieces by Vincent van Gogh, Gustav Klimt and Piet Mondrian and highlight our passion for 20th century art and artists ", comments Carlo Giordanetti, CEO of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel. "We are also extremely happy to include watches designed based on the works of highly rated contemporary artists, such as Tadanori Yokoo and Beatriz Milhazes. The latter will enter our special Swatch X You program".
