Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2 The latest show produced by Rihanna is now on Amazon Prime Video
From October 2nd exclusively on Amazon Prime will be available the streaming of Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2. Despite the restrictions caused by the pandemic have forced all brands to think outside the box, creating alternatives to the classic fashion show such as short movies, interactive experiences or puppets, Rihanna has decided to renew the partnership with the American platform by presenting a live-action recorded at the Los Angeles convention center which is expected to be a "high voltage" event, full of music, dance and with performances by Travis Scott, Rosalía e Bad Bunny.
The cast is super inclusive and includes many special guests such as Lizzo, Cara Delevingne, Willow Smith, Irina Shayk, Paris Hilton, Bella Hadid, Paloma Elsesser, Demi Moore, Aleali May and the drag queen Gigi Goode.
Inclusivity has always been a part of our brand. That’s not a "right now" thing. It's sad that it’s right now for most brands. - The pop star said to People - But that's always been who I am. It's always been how I operate with everything I've done creatively, whether it's makeup or lingerie. I get really excited to see people be a part of my brand. It’s not like I went into it thinking, "Let's make a movement." I feel great that there are women that are feeling like they see themselves on the stage for the first time. And if we can continue to expand on that, we’ve done more than we really started out trying to do.
For Rihanna, the hyper sexy underwear presented in the show is a way of affirming femininity, power, but also an item that helps you feel comfortable with yourself:
Displaying sensuality has become something that's way deeper than the surface for me. It's that empowerment in wearing whatever the hell I want, however the hell I want to wear it for myself, not even for anybody else.
The show will also be an opportunity to discover the new menswear capsule collection created in collaboration with Christian Combs (P Diddy's son): 11 pieces in total including, oversize tuxedo jacket, satin pants with monogram print, cotton and wool boxer shorts.
