Nike relaunches the Air Deschutz sandal The popular 90's cross-training silhouette makes its comeback
Next week will mark the return of one of Nike's most beloved and debated silhouettes, the Air Deschutz.
The shoe, originally introduced in 1992 as part of Nike's ACG line, was one of the first examples of "cross-training sandal" because of its unique design, a hybrid that combined form and function. Designed to challenge wide open spaces and hiking, the item was also perfect for walking around university campuses or staying at home.
The official launch of the new Air Deshutz is scheduled for May 14th when the sandals will be available online and in selected Nike retailers.
