Stone Island Shadow Project unveils its SS20 collection Among the new features, special compact materials and a new duffel bag

Stone Island has just unveiled the lookbook for the new Shadow Project SS20 collection. Once again, Stone Island is moving its quest towards the most technologically advanced evolution of menswear concepts. The collection explores the idea of density both in terms of shapes and design and structure of outerwear, combining compact and soft materials for different texture and performance effects.

The peculiarity of the materials in this collection lies in the special high-density fabric composed of compact nylon and cotton fibers that is declined in the Heavy Compact Nylon version, created exclusively for Shadow Project, and Compact 50 Fili, fabric Classic Of Stone Island. Both materials have a gauzy interior that creates dynamism and contrasts with the outer and denser side. Other types of innovative materials are OPAK, a translucent nylon-polyester fabric, DPM Chiné Jacquard, a resin-coated cotton-polyester mix inside, which is complemented by a jacquard texture that creates striped areas in the fabric giving it a visual texture, and reworkings of stone Island's historic materials such as Striped Nylon Metal, with a matte and metallic surface, and the Light Nylon-R that combines ultradense membranes for greater performance.

The Stone Island Shadow Project's SS20 collection is already available on the brand's official website and in select retailers.
