Labels from the Wild West A cowboy's paradise

Clint Eastwood, the foreigner with icy eyes of Sergio Leone's spaghetti western, Jamie Foxx pulp in Django Unchained, the iconic James Dean in Stetson and the Texan boots in Giant, the legendary John Wayne of John Ford's films, Rey Rogers aka King of the Cowboys or Bud Spencer & Terence Hill of the Italian parodies are just some of the names that have contributed to bring cowboy clothing successful, taking it from the rodeo's borders to invade, from the '40s and' 50s when Hollywood turned it into pop, the wardrobe of entire generations.

We all know very well the elements that characterize the look of the perfect man of the far west: Stetson hat, denim, Texan boots, belt with buckle, checked shirt, bandana and, to complete, colt, lasso and a horse. These are the same ingredients that we often find in the graphics of the western clothing labels and which make each item unique, precious and collectible. Vintage and eBay stores are shopping heaven places to find the finest rarities and labels, from the bull by Fay Ward Co. to Nudie's cowgirl, a brand famous for inventing rhinestone suits, such as the masterpiece with marijuana leaves worn by Gram Parsons or the dress in golden lamè by Elvis Presley.
