Kith Park is the best collection ever designed by Ronnie Fieg Including collaborations with Versace, Tommy Hilfiger and Greg Lauren
Definitely one cannot accuse Ronnie Fieg of laziness or lack of inspiration, because for his third collection, just presented during the NYFW, it is huge.
At the Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn, in front of an audience that includes the biggest names in sports, music and fashion such as LeBron James, Justin Bieber, Alexandre Arnault, 2 Chainz, Heron Preston and Fabolous, four distinct fashion ideas are staged to as many collections: the homonymous line of Kith, a capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger, one with Greg Lauren and a collaboration with Versace. Over 120 looks, womenswear and menswear together, which underline how fashion is no longer linked to the traditional concept of seasonality and how the shows are more and more engaging shows. The show opens in an autumn forest with the new creations of Fieg, a riot of duvets, tartans, street and sportswear elements, oversized volumes contrasted with tight silhouettes, overlays and worker jackets. Among the proposed items stand out the partnerships with Bergdorf Goodman, Columbia and with MASTERMIND Japan.
The last piece of this huge show is the capsule with Versace. Opens the section dedicated to the Italian fashion house Bella Hadid in bra, cycling shorts and cropped down jacket, all with a baroque fantasy, while closing the Portuguese Sara Sampaio with a variation of the same look. In the middle there are Lucky Blue Smith and the other models with graphic blazers, quilted velvet bomber jackets, a synthetic fur trainer jacket decorated with the Versace logo, t-shirts with sparkling golden designs and the silk shirt with geometric patterns. A fun fact: the Versace brand for Fieg has a special value, it is linked to the mother who dreamed of owning a piece of the Italian label, without, unfortunately, being able to afford it.
