White Street Market: a journey through cinema, surf and sneakers - WSM awaits you from June16th to the 18th

The journey to discover the long-awaited White Street Market continues.

After announcing the main topics of the festival - fashion and sustainability - and the first brands involved, it's time to present three new events happening during the days of 16th, 17th and 18th June.

Let's begin with a production signed James Franco, Jennifer Howell and Elysium Bandini Studios and directed by James Moll: OBEY GIANT. The docu-film follows the history and the artistic evolution of Shepard Fairey, better known as Obey, the street artist who gave life to the Hope phenomenon (remember the posters hanging all over the world with the face of Mr. Obama on them?). On Sunday 17, at 4 pm, there will be a special screening of the film, combined with the presentation of Obey latest collection. Fashion and street art meet to fuse, drawing at the same time the attention of the spectator and the streetwear victim.

The second unmissable event is the one with the SNEAKERNESS team, one of Europe's most influential sneaker-meetings. White Street Market's special partner, the team will present its "sneakers arena", a teaser activity where well-known stakeholders of the industry will discuss, creating a "sneaker-debate", and will also give a sneak preview of their line up.
