The Florentine Gucci Garden is a journey into the imagination and creativity of the Maison Among Michelin star food, Maison's memorabilia and exclusive Gucci garments
Inaugurated on January 9th, Gucci Garden is the new Florentine project conceived by Alessandro Michele himself, presenting the vast range of garments, memorabilia, ephemera, contemporary art and garments from the new collections to the origins of the brand in 1921, are on display on the two floors of the Gucci Garden Gallery and organized by Thematic Areas, realized together with the critic and fashion curator Maria Luisa Frisa.
Why "Gucci Garden"?
"The garden is real, but it is above all to the sphere of the imaginary, populated as it is of plants and animals, like the snake, which insinuates itself everywhere and which, in a certain sense, symbolizes a perpetual beginning and a perpetual return",
declares Alessandro Michele.
The Gucci Museum which, opened in 2011, now incorporates the traditional concept of museums and reinterprets it as a living, creative and collaborative space in which the aesthetics and the philosophy in perennial evolution of the brand are not only the ones of Michele but of all the designers who have worked for the Maison.
Inside the Florence Gucci Garden it will also be possible to buy items exclusively designed for the occasion and not sold in any other Gucci location or store: from shoes to bags, several unique creations characterized by the gothic Gucci Gardens fonts.
