How are you living the quarantine: fears and dreams?
I feel lucky that I have been able to take care of myself and my loved ones during this hard time. Big cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh were locked down for over 20 days from the first of April, which caused many of my friends, including my boyfriend, to lose their jobs, shows and gigs. I’ve been working as a model both online and offline so I still managed to have a quite stable income. However, it was scary as hell when the pandemic first started. I remember overthinking about this every night before sleep for a month straight before the Government decided to lockdown big cities because the syndromes are similar to flu, which people can get any time in Hanoi, where my parents and closed friends are in. I was scared of going to work, communicating and standing near people. It was so stressful. Luckily, the peak of the pandemic was gone, all my loved ones are safe and we’re slowly going back to normal life, thanks to the Government’s quick actions. I miss going to shows, playing gigs, being in the crowd singing. I hope we can have all of that again next month. But of course, safety first.
What is your soundtrack?
My latest song “Gửi em” was released in April. You guys can check it in via the link in my Instagram bio.
