Schools have been among the first institutions to adapt to the new measures of quarantine. What are the pros and cons of online classes?

IED Roma immediately reacted to this situation: first of all, they made us understand that they were working hard for our own good. I have been patient and I trusted them, but most of all I understood that the little time they took was necessary to re-organize everything at its best. Online classes from home can be streamed anywhere, and I think this is good; though, I feel a little nostalgic and for me nothing can compare to a real meeting. Sometimes our wi-fi was not by our side, so I think that this is a con.

The Fashion and Design Industries have been aggressively afflicted by the COVID-19 emergency. As a consumer, but also as a future insider of those systems, what will be the worst consequences of this crisis?

Fashion and design industries have been among the most afflicted, it is true, but they were smart in converting themselves and defend the weakest by producing face masks and primary necessity tools for hospitals. I don't think that we have to underestimate them, nor I think that people will forget this. It is well known that the economical damages will be huge and of course fashion will pay its price, but I can see the come back to a pre-consumerism era: we will come back to what it is really worth, to Made in Italy and innovative, sustainable fabrics. Furthermore, fashion finally understood that communication in the digital era needed a change: it is not the pandemic's fault. The apocalypse was already waiting at the door, we were just ignoring it. From now on, we need to start back and try to change our obsolete habits. This conversion will hit us like the wind, and will help us to solve problematic situations. I trust our future.

Your work is built on creativity. Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?

The solution to keep being creative is to think outside the box. There are a billion of solutions to any problem. I'm thinking and acting this way, I studied and I discovered that creativity was inside of me: this was my hint. The most important thing is to stay positive and never give up. Creativity is made of moments that we have to grasp, sometimes a single word can be enough to let it shine.
