5 exhibitions to see in Milan Now you know where to take your Tinder dates

The weekend is coming and with it free time. It's time to leave the house and do something about your day. Many, these days in Milan, enjoy aperitifs and picnics at the park in freedom – although life can't be all spritz and green lawns. To fill your afternoon or morning, therefore, why not visit one of the thousand museums or exhibitions in Milan on the fly and mix culture with fun? Without mentioning the fact that bringing your eventual dates to the museum will (hopefully) start on the right foot.

Without further ado, here are the 5 best exhibitions to see in Milan this weekend.

#1 Colorado by Peter Sutherland @ Spazio Maiocchi

An exhibition that, more than telling the art of the legendary Frida Khalo, describes its life in detail, reconstructing to the last detail the house and the studio, all part of the famous Casa Azul in Mexico City. Through a series of photographic portraits of the artist, projections of his works and her husband Diego Rivera, the exhibition will tell the woman behind the artist, also trying to narrate through original stories and artefacts the culture and popular art of Mexico that so influenced Frida's works.
